Dear Mr Andrews-Reading,
At a meeting this afternoon called to read through the posts of the
last couple of months featured above your name I was asked, "Who does
this guy think he is?" When I couldn't answer I was asked, "Well, who
is he anyway?" And then, "Don't you think we ought to find out?"
So who are you? If you are the man I suspect you might be, and thus you
are really Michael Andrews-Reading, an Australian accountant, you can
quickly prove it to be probable by sending to me by private e-mail the
address you last used in a suburb of North Sydney and the telephone
number you had there. (With the current dangers of identity theft I
cannot ask you to post an address for the public to see.)
Confirmation of who you really are will be a necessary first step to
you receiving the answers you complain you have not been given.

PS
I neglected to mention in my brief CV for you that during I read
post-grad law at the University of Sydney (1990 to 1995) during which
time, as well as my 18 years as a lay magistrate in New South Wales, I
have had reasonable opportunity to acquire the principles of libel law.
I am not sure where you trawled the "suburb of North Sydney"
information from [how amusing to think that I have you as a
cyber-stalker, Alex!] but as your geography of Sydney is evidently
lacking, please note that the suburb in which I reside - North Curl
Curl - is not a suburb of North Sydney, but a northern suburb of
Sydney. Summer travelling in Europe done for the year now, I leave the
UK again shortly for Oz so if you intend to continue your
cyber-stalking by writing me a billet doux warning me of the perils of
asking you and your chums reasonable questions in a public forum that
you frequent, do some simple research of your own - I'm not publishing
the street address on an internet news-group for [other] fruitcakes to
get hold of, but I am the only Andrews-Reading in the book.
Regards, Michael

If you have no need to confirm his identity then why not answer his (
and everyone else's) questions. The longer you let the smoke linger the
surer we are that there is a fire.
Remember... confession is good for the soul.

Ms Murray, I can appreciate your concern that Mr Andrews-Reading does
not share his address with us all, it is commendable of you. I would
not like my address to be published and you would not like yours to be
either.
But Ms Murray you can not surely deny that Mr. Andrews-Reading is the
only one seeking answers. You have been asked the same questions by me
and others and our addresses are available to you through a certain
society's members list. We also require answers and your peculiar

request to Mr. Andrews-Reading can not apply to us.
This forum will not be diverted by such tactics. It really is time you
gave the answers without further delay.
