An EXTREMELY EXTREMELY unlikely situation but what if...
We all know that the first 50 or so in the line of succession to the
British throne are either British royalty, British nobility or British
commoners. No problem.
What if (heaven forbid) a catastrophe happens and the King of Norway
succeeds to the British throne?
Any ideas on how that would work and what would happen?

This was my first thought, but I suspect that neither the UK nor Norway would like to be
the one who ended up with a governor-general or viceroy instead of a royal family.
Perhaps the British Parliament could pass an act enabling the succession to go directly
to Princess Martha Louise or Prince Sverre Magnus.

"The King may not accept any other crown or government without the consent
of the Storting, for which two thirds of the votes are required."
It is in my opinion not very likely that the Storting would allow the King
or his descendants to accept the British Throne. If the King had a real
choice, I am sure he would prefer to continue as Norwegian King only.

Considering the widespread geological area such a catastrophe would
have to cover to eliminate the first 50 in line; I seriously doubt
there would be a throne to succeed to - much less the ability of anyone
to determine that all 50 HAD been eliminated.
