Frankopans were Croatian noble family, extinct in 1671, when their
titles
passed to Italian family Frangipane, of Friuli, still extant (I think
that
the present Head of this family is Marquess Doimo Frangipane, Grand
Cross of
Honour and Devotion of SMOM).
Few months ago there were articles in some Croatian newspapers about
allegadly Prince Louis de Frankopan, his wife Ingrid, and children
Nikola
and Lovro, who were described as successors of the Frankopan family.
Since
the Croatian Frankopanes are extinct, and AFAIK, these persons are not
members of the Marquess Frangipane's family, they are neither Princes,
nor
Frankopans.
