Some while ago I discovered the case of the Marshal brothers, 2nd to
6th Earls of Pembroke between 1219 and 1245, which I thought was the
only case of five brothers holding a peerage in succession. In fact,
there is a much more recent example; the Ingrams, who were 4th to 8th
Viscounts Irvine between 1702 and 1763. Any more?

I suppose an honourable mention could go to the four
sons of the future James II who were all created Duke
of Cambridge

PA What about brother kings seating in succession on the same throne? Do
the three French Kings François II, Charles IX and Henri III hold the
record?
GT - Equalled by Louis X, Philip V and Charles IV, if it were not
for Louis X having left a shortlived son Jean I. How many babies
who died aged less than one week are remembered so much 690
years later?
