Is it true that HH is higher than HSH?
(Gary Holtzman) garyholtzman...

Yes, that is correct.
Frank R.A.J. Maloney...

Surely not in Monaco.
Charles von Hamm...

True.
For the original poster:
In terms of degrees of "exaltation", the list of styles goes approximately
like this:
HIM/HI&RM (Imperial Majesty, Imperial and Royal Majesty)
HM (Majesty)
HIH/HI&RH (Imperial Highness, Imperial and Royal Highness)
HRH (Royal Highness)
HGDH (Grand Ducal Highness)
HH (Highness)
HDSH (Ducal Serene Highness)
HSH (Serene Highness)
HIll.H (Illustrious Highness)
That's basically what I gather of it. Note that the style HDSH has fell out

a translation from German, I believe, where HSH (Durchlaucht) is roughly
equal to "Transparency". This ranked below Highness (Hoheit), but the

English translation of it came out to be Serene Highness. Hope that helps a
