Antix...
I'm sure my wife could phrase this in a better way but our 2year old
boy has suddenly become scared of bath time because 2-3 days ago he
poo'd in the bath.Since then, He's always had the ability to make
himself sick on demand and he's done this 3 nights on the run around

OMG, that's rough. I thought tantrums were bad.

bath time. We've tried both getting in the bath and he did then want to
get in with us, but kept holding himself and asking to get out (to go
on the potty) within 2-3 mins of being in the bath (which was repeated

oh. ok. language is ok then.

over and over). We started with the potty a couple of months back but
haven't pushed him to use it...he'll just sit there for a few minutes
reading a book each day just to get him use to it (he's not actually
been in it yet but that fact that he's now asking for it and must be
feeling like he wants to go, probably getting close to it)

I'm sure it's fairly normal for them to get anxious about it at this
stage but wondered if anyone had had similar experiences...

We had almost this exact experience, except we weren't even potty
training at the time. My son pooped in the bathtub and suddenly got
very worried about it. We also had a period when going down the drain
was a fear.

I honestly don't remember exactly what we did, but it probably involved
just skipping baths for a little while until the memory got less vivid.
We're not a bath-every-day family anyway, especially not in the winter
when dry skin is an issue, so it wasn't a big deal.

I think that bath time is just, on the whole, too much darn fun for
kids to be too concerned about them for too long... give it time and do
what _she_ said.
