Memories

Since I started posting here again, I've been spending some time
reading old posts on web-search, from when Shaina was a wee one. And boy
... I'm glad web-search is around. I honestly did NOT remember most of
this stuff. Oh, I remember a lot of the big stuff -- the wars and the
long debates. But most of the CTTS/CTTD posts have long since vanished
into the depths of memory. It's wonderful to be able to read them
again. Alas, 14 year olds don't tend to be quite so adorable.

I just started a journal just so I can remember everything, because I'm told
we forget. I told my co-workers it was so I'd have something to read when
they are teens. :)

I think that, like Naomi, my journal really is what I've posted here on
misc.kids over the years! I've never been a journaling person otherwise. No
teenaged diaries or anything like that.

It's one of the great benefits to me of misc.kids.
