Toddler girl shirts which aren't onsies?

I have a rather small almost 2 yr old who is starting to do halfway decently
at toilet training, at least when she's wearing minimal clothes at home
(she's spent most of the last week or two in a 12 month sized t-shirt and
training pants). However, it's starting to get a bit chilly here for that,
and when I went through the toddler clothes I got from a friend, all the
winter-weight tops are onsies. Checking at Target was the same thing-normal,
toddler clothes in her size (even looking up to a 2t-she currently is a 12
month size in width and an 18 month size in length) are onsies. The only
stand alone tops are ones which are in outfits which really don't seem age
appropriate. Somehow, I don't think that onsies will work well. I considered
just not snapping them, but I suspect the tails would get wet every single
time.
Does anyone know of any sources for toddler long-sleeved shirts before I
consider altering the onsies myself?

KMart WonderKids brand is great. :) They have a number of styles and
colors and they are well-made and affordable. If you can't find them
in the toddler girls' section look in toddler boys' - a number of the
styles could go either way.

have you looked at toddler boy's shirts? i'm pretty sure
Target has long sleeve T styles and flannel shirts that aren't
onesies.
also, Gymboree has baby & toddler girl tops that aren't
onesies. i know they're expensive, but they run really good
sales and the clothes last forever (well past one kid
outgrowing them anyway... & my kid is rough on his clothes)

yes, i second this. i'd forgotten about them. IME they run a
bit short on length, but my kid is rather tall & inherited the
long arms of my side of the family (i've never fit womens RTW.
the sleeves are always 3-4" above my wrists). you might not
have that problem.

I haven't had that trouble with the toddler boy's clothing although
they do run a tiny *bit* small, sometimes.

Target is your friend, as is Kohls (or at least, they were helpful 6
years ago when looking for size 2T tops for winter -- generic
turtlenecks, in the boys department which -- yea! -- were just
turtlenecks, lacking logos, little sports icons, and pictures of
earth-moving equipment.)
