When I was a kid, I had a book that had a back cover of a skeleton. The
pages were clear plastic with pictures of body parts on them. You layered
the person in the book by turning the pages so first you would put on their
organs, then their muscles then their skin for example. I don't know how to
search for this book. Anyone have thoughts?

Is it by any chance "Looking into My Body"? You can find it on
amazon.com. My kids have really liked it.

I saw something like this recently at Costco, can't recall the name. If
you're interested in a puzzle (shameless plug here....this is my site,
but it is 'on topic' so I'm going to share it), we have a product
(wooden puzzle) that depicts the internal organs of the body....its at

While this is probably not the same book, I find DK books to have many
things like this on various topics. This URL links to the UK, but I
think you can get this in the US and other countries as well.

It won't be in print, but you'll find similar books in the children's
non-fiction in the local bookshop and library.
