My oldest daughter (she is 13) recieved a liver transplant. What a
rollercoaster ride it was in the early years, but she is healthy and happy.
I am so thankful for her second chance at life. :o)

Here's to many many more healthy happy years for your daughter!
(and to everyone else - check that 'organ donor' box on your driver's
license form!)

You come across as a very strong person. Good for you for being so
strong for your family. And welcome the teenage years :)

Aww, thank you. Must be the Irish in me ;o) I think I'm going to need to be
very strong to deal with the teenage years, especially with three girls,
lol.

What a wonderful day to celebrate.

Wow! That is so amazing. Do you do anything special to mark the day?

We had a party when it was the 10-year anniversary, but we haven't really
done anything on the rest of the years. If she makes it to 20 yrs, I would
love to celebrate again. However, every year that I have her is a
celebration.

Happy rebirthday!
And everyone who hasn't done this yet, please check out how to arrange for
organ donation. In NSW, it's a form you tick on your driver's licence
renewal, but close relatives have the right of veto under some circumstances,
so you need to inform them of your wishes.
