I have two pieces of what looks like Weller DickenswareII. one I'm
fairly sure of, a pillow vase with an Indian chief (Black Bear marked on
front)Dickensware Weller mark on bottom. The other one is about 13"
swollen shoulder vase with Indian chief standing next a sitting female
and trees etched around the rest of the vase. Bottom has only a faint
X180 on it.Both are the same etching and colors. Both came from same
place.(94 yr old woman's estate) Any comments or help on value or
someplace to find more info would be appreciated.

They both are made in the same style of inscribed or etched design. The
intricacy of the trees on the tall vase is amazing.Forgot to mention the
name"WOLF TAIL" is inscribed in the design of the tall one. "BLACK BEAR"
in the pillowvase. I found the pillowvase in a price guide but no luck
on the other.(1500.00 was the price on Black Bear)

Look for the Huxford's book on Weller. Can't really be any more
helpful without at least seeing an image posted to your webspace.

You're paying for an ISP that doesn't give you "personal web space"
for photos? ;)
