Book Stand

I have an antique book stand - single pedestal with 4 claw feet. The
top is hinged and opens flat to lay a large book on it. There are no
markings on it whatsoever. I can't find anything on the web remotely
close. Does anyone have any ideas? I am trying to detemine its value.

I'm happy to report that an antique four-footed bookstand is valued at
half that of the much rarer two-footed stand (which currently appraises
at $200). So, 4 footed antique bookstand is $100 (plus 7% tax for
residents of Florida).
