I found an old brass pot in my garage today. I think my aunt gave it
to me years ago, if I remember correctly. Judging by the shape of it, I
think it's a chamber pot, but I'm not entirely sure. It has on the
bottom, a small square sticker red in color with gold bordering, that
says ''MADE IN INDIA''. Other that that, no markings.anywhere. Can
anyone tell me what this is and the era it's from? Any help
appreciated. Thanks

It's most likely a 1960s/1970s import item from a gift shop (here in the
US, most likely from a Pier One store). Miniature coal-scuttle shape,
probably designed to hold a plant or kitchen tools.
Of course, I'm going by what I remember....and I don't know what
"years ago" means to you.

Yup. I think you have a non-antique giftware item that looks older than it
is due to not having been kept clean. Some will call that build-up
"patina" to give it importance but my opinion is that this item will never
have great value (as a reproduction coal scuttle shape), but is a family
item that should be cleaned up (brass and/or copper polish), displayed and
used.
If you can ask your aunt, find out where she got it and what it was used
for. I'm betting that it came with wooden
spoons or other kitchen tools, or a plant.
Others may disagree.
