I am looking for information in regards to the fair market value of a
Adam Hall Corp. (Sherbrooke, Quebec) model 923 drive stove. After many
days of exhastive search I have yeilded nothing. For those that are
unfamiliar with this item it was used as a protable stove for the
logging camps of the early 1900's. The stove was loaded onto a pointer
boat and then used on board all day to provide hot meals to the loggers
while the boat plied up and down the river.
If anyone has any information regarding this stove or where I could
find a listing for the fair market value - it would be appreciated

I just did a quick search, and found a writing stating that Adam Hall
stoves were made in Peterborough, Ontario!
And, this from the Peterborough Museum, confirms it:
Some possible relevant information:
Keep in mind when searching, while Peterborough is the proper spelling,
in older times, Peterboro was also very common.
Most think of Peterborough as famous for canoes and boats, but there
were a lot of manufacturers there, including iron foundries and glass.
With the Trent River there, they could ship downriver to Lake Ontario
and then East and West.

This place in Courtland popped into mind. He collects, restores and
sells antique stoves. An email to him might help you.
