Professor Robocop?

I finally got around to watching all of the History Channel's
miniseries "Rome: Engineering the Empire" (which was excellent, highly
recommended) and the one thing that kept distracting me was the fact
that Peter Weller was one of the experts they interviewed. He was
identified as being associated with Syracuse University. He seemed to
know his stuff, but it was weird seeing Buckaroo Banzai in that
context.

That "Hollywood and the Roman Empire" would have to be the coolest
class ever, especially with the incentive to do well.

My wife went to high school in Rome. In the morning they'd learn about
the Colosseum or Pantheon and in the afternoon they'd go see it. Envy.

Hey, that's a great story. I live near Syracuse. It's a great school and
there's been a number orf celebrities that have gone to SU. Funny how a
city named after Rome is where he is getting to teach.
