I did, but I wonder if he's going to come back. He was not signed to
be in every show. I thought he added some flavor to the show. The

A flavor that is incompatible with the rest of the show. His scenes don't
feel like they belong in "ER" to me. Maybe an FX show, but not "ER."

crime stuff pulled us away from the ER too much.

I thought it was depressing. He did not seem to use his brain to avoid
the trouble that he seemed to easily predict was coming. He was

Not a big JL-on-ER fan myself (I tend to agree with Chelsea that
he'd've fit in better on an FX show), but really... who on the show
does that *not* describe?

Leguizamo's one of those performers I'll turn a show off if I see his name.
Luckily I don't watch ER so it works out perfectly. :-)

introduced as a flashy doc but has now sunk to the bottom of the

ER is sometimes like a soap opera but they have to do that to hook

JL started out strong as a guy who was an innovative doc who might bring
some fresh air to the ER, but he quickly degenerated into the same old soap
operaish character whose complicated personal life far overshadows his
professional one, like every other character on the show. JL gave a lot of
interviews where he talked about how his mom was proud of his role as a
doctor and how he was stoked to present a positive role model to the Latino
community. Presumably he wasn't talking about Clemente's adulterous affair
with the skanky nurse or the substance abuse. The character hit the skids

Ok now Sharon that's enough. Now you know I let you get away with a lot
around here, but I cannot let this one slide - NOT THIS TIME!
Johnny Legs' girlfriend has a good three to five years of booger-sugar
use before she gets skanky. Maybe more if somehow those knockout pins
hold together.

pretty shortly after his debut, no way he can be redeemed at this point. No
reason either.
JL has signed to do a pilot for another series, he is probably not coming
back after this season. Interesting how many of the name guest stars on
this show almost immediately get cast in a series after doing ER. Sally
Field, James Woods, and now JL.
