While watching ym Alias DVd this morning I saw an ad for Felicity. It
said it's produced by J.J.Abrahms, same guy who did Alias & Lost. So I
got me wondering:
Alias and Lost are both good shows; is Felicity worth buying &
watching?

I liked it better than either of those shows.

But it's a very different show. Not that there's anything wrong with it,
merely that if someone likes Lost and Alias, they may be interested
in those shows for specific reasons, and those reasons don't apply to
Felicity.
Afterall, Felicity is set at a university, has no action, has no mystery
(except maybe Megan's box), is pretty much all about relationships. I
remember liking it, though maybe not after it had been on for a while,
but if someone is looking for action or adventure, it's not the show
to seek.

The first season is the best, but a little depressive. The rest of the
seasons tried too hard to be lighter and ended up being boring and soap
opera-ish. Try renting out the first two seasons to see if you like it.

The first three seasons are really boring, but you probably want to watch
the fourth season involving time travel. Season four is more close to Alias
and Lost.

The last half of season four was some of the dumbest TV ever, IMNSHO.
Totally unrealistic. It reminded me of warped sci-fi... you know, the
kind of sci-fi that could NEVER happen in a trillion years. The rest
of it, I liked, personally.

But it is in the second half of season four Felicity, the Muse inspired J J
Abrams to do Alias and Lost.

And oddly enough, I hate both of those shows with a passion.
Go figure...
