I have noticed The Collector running on cable in Australia, but never
videonovels...

.
Oh my!
So.... does Australia support nudity on tv? (crosses fingers)
Ken from Chicago...
|
Two words:
"Australian soaps".

The only nudity was in the pilot.
|
|
bothered to watch it.
Sounds like I should!

I like the show - I like stories about the devil, tho I don't believe in
such an entity.
I really liked "Brimstone".

cloud dreamer...
|
Caprica hasn't started yet, but I believe it has the go ahead. Not 100%
sure, but I think it is set 40 years before the current Battlestar
Galactica during the Cylon war. I believe it follows Adama's father.

I don't think anyone knows. Maybe they might put up that rumored
third Stargate series... We've got almost a full year till then, a lot
can
happen in that time...

The Collector plays up here on the Space Station. I don't watch it but
I'm sure it's listed on tv.com. Never heard of the Dresden Files.

What do you mean "up here on the Space Station"?! Is that a joke?!
jayembee...
|
Well, he might've phrased it that way as a joke, but otherwise, no,

|
...she (last time I checked...ummm...yup...they're still there)....
|
it's not a joke. He's in Canada, and instead of the Sci Fi Channel,
the Canadians have a science fiction cable network called Space:
The Imagination Station
cloud dreamer...
|
Bingo. Some of us affectionately call it the Space Station.
|
|
|
|
It's also been cancelled.

It's a new show based on a novel series. It's basically a Hammett-
or Chandleresque private eye series, with magic. Similar to J.
Michael Reaves "Darkworld Detective" series.

SG-1 Ends Run; Atlantis Back
SCI FI Channel confirmed that it will not renew its record-breaking
original series Stargate SG-1 for another season, but will pick up its
spinoff series Stargate Atlantis for a fourth year. SG-1 aired its 200th
episode on Aug. 18, and the SF series is the longest-running SF show on
American television.

Harry dresden is a professional wizard/PI. He serves on a wizard
council battles vampires/etc baddies. That's an oversimplification of
an AWESOME series of books that I have read so many times it's not
funny. It has also spawned a series of sigs that I have used in the
past. I cannot WAIT for this show.

Oh yeah and he plays D&D with werewolves which totally cracks me up.

Gee, the season hasn't even really started and shows I like are being
cancelled already. Poor Claudia Black and Ben Browder. First Farscape
and now this. Well, let's hope it gets a proper sendoff. At least
Stargate Atlantis (which I actually enjoy quite a bit more) will still
be around. I wonder who from the SG1 cast will wind up on SA.
Anthony (who didn't start watching SG1 until season 9, so I've got 8
years to catch up on)
