WQ...
Well, this show is dropping fast like a ton of bricks. It
began with an 8.6, then got a 7.5 and the latest
episode managed to snare only a 6.0, all overnight
numbers, though I hardly think the final ones are that
much better. If this keeps up, ABC's return of What
About Brian next week may end up being the hit of the
season.

CliffB...
Among the problems: it's boring and much too stuck on itself. From the
moment it began with an unoriginal, overdrawn referential cue to
Network, it has only paled further. The supposed "quick wit" fell flat
pretty rapidly.

Major ChrisB...
I disagree. I think it's fresh and nothing like anything else on TV. I'm
absoilutly loving it! Perry and Walsh are amazing together and Amanda Peet
and the guy from wings' storyline is great. I also like how the girl who's
supposed to be the lead comedian on the fake show isnt even slightly funny
on the real show...

Well, it really doesn't surprise me, who on the earth want to watch
behind scene stories about SNL? Somebody must confuse the White House,
like it or not, the center of politics of not only this country, but
the whole world, with an old, tired 30 years old comedy show, do they

Given the themes that Sorkin wanted to hit in his first two shows,
I honestly don't know why they didn't make this about a network and all
the shows on it, the balance between entertainment and news, etc, rather
than this extraordinarily full-of-itself SNL-themed allegory about Sorkin
and Schlamme.

Anim8rFSK...
Yes. The network running stuff is WAY more interesting that the show
specific stuff, especially since the show and (most of) the staff don't
come across as worth saving.

I've also got problems with smart as a whip Harry having no idea how
focus groups work, after being on this show for 7 years. They need to
be explaining stuff like that to the NEW cast member.

really think that people with no interest in SNL itself will rush to
see what happened behind scene? Give me a break.

wcrapkin...
Don't count on a quick cancelation. Given that this is far and away
the most acclaimed and prestigious shows of the season NBC will try
it's best to save it. NBC doesn't give up on high-caliber shows like
this one so fast. Especially since this is their best show of the
season.
