Could be, but that's "wrong thinking" on her part. All she did was
demonstrate she's not a team player. Problem is, once there were hints
that she was leaving The View (and we've all heard that for years), no one
else apparently bit. Burned bridges and all of that.

I looked all over for a transcript of Barbara's dramatic farewell
speech to Star on today's episode of "The View" but couldn't find it.
So I transcribed it myself.
If you wanna read it (along with my smartass comments) you can find it

Thanks for posting this! I've been busy at work and home and missed
this whole fiasco.
What a clusterfsck.

The best line ever:
"We worked closely with her representatives and we gave her time to
look for another job and we hoped that she would announce it here on
the program and leave with dignity. But Star made another choice."

And the way BabaWawa said all of this, she sounded as if somebody had
just died.

Because Barabara is a huge phony. Star was very nice when she
made her announcement. She took both Joy and Barbara's hands and

"very nice?" She was totally unprofessional, interrupting a segment to
make an announcement that she had something "on her heart." And just
how long had this been "on her heart?"
She took both Joy and Barbara's hands and

held them and never accused anyone of anything. She was very
graceful. Barbara must think she's the freaking queen of America

"graceful?" Again, totally unprofessional to do what she did, and the
other two women were there, too but Ms. Jones didn't think she had to
alert anybody to what she was going to do. Perhaps, she wanted to be a
star in more than just her name; my guess is her appearance toniight on
Larry King will be her last prime time show.
Barbara must think she's the freaking queen of America

if she took any insult from Star doing what she needed to do on
her own timeline. Can you imagine the whispers back stage for the
last several months. Barbara probably told her assistants and they
told others. It must have been very hard on Star and while she was
a bit much now and then she did nothing wrong when she made her

"nothing wrong?" She interrupted a show, interrupted her co-hosts to
make her little speech. And now she's trashing Barbara Walters!
Puh-leeze.
when she made her

announcement but "throw" Miss Walters off for a moment and "Miss"
Walters doesn't like that. Barbara had no right so say that the show
wanted to do it with dignity but that Star chose another way. What
wasn't dignified enough for Barbara? Only her discomfort. What a

Her professionalism?
Only her discomfort.
I think a lot of people were a lot more than merely uncomfortable. Can
you imagine the producer's reaction when she started.
What a

capitol phony. Wait until Rosie lets loose with her opinions. Then
the oh so delicate Barbara will probably bust a stitch in her recent
face lift. - Robbielynn

Then it'll be a very lively show with ratings going up rather than
down. Maybe Ms. Jones'll have to get married again to make money. Oh,
no, she won't be on a hit tv show. will she. Maybe the TV Guide
Channel will find a spot for her. Somewhere.
