It took a full season, but I finally quit watching Lost. Along with the
abrupt replacement of blondie, the storyline concerning "What Kate did"
seemed weak. After all, it's pretty easy to go the route of portraying a
character as committing an _understandable_ crime. But if they had her
commit a truly awful act, that would have been worth watching.
Also, I think it's obvious that the writers are just making all of this up
on the fly. They have no more idea of what the island is really all about
than we do.

I gave up on it after episode 4 or 5 of this season.

This is what happened with TWIN PEAKS. It was such a mind-blowing
show at the start when David Lynch and the writers had an idea
where they were going, but it eventually became clear that they were
passing the bong around and jotting down scripts that appealed to
their addled minds.

Well for me it took the entire first hour of the two parter though I
was mostly disinterested while watching it and then I confess to
watching a couple of eps after that but found myself uninterested in
many of the shared co-stars contrived and intertwined lives and stopped
watching though I did continue to read about the show and was surprised
that it came to be inarguably I might add a bonifide hit. I then went
back and watched one of those recap shows and still nothing. This year
however just when some hard core fans seemed to be disappointed in the
show I started taping it again and found myself not the least bit
obsessed with the story or the hatch or where it was going but focused
more on just FF to whenever Kate was on. I watch Lost for the hot grl
and the guy from ALIAS and usually I can get through a taped ep in 15
minutes or less : ) And oh yeah I have been crushin' on Michelle
Rodriguez since Girl Fight so I was glad to see her come on board
though I fear her extracuricular activities will get her written out of
the show in the not to distant future.

Baby. I bet you can't stand comic books, either.
Slow down and enjoy the ride.
