Anyone else notice that when Sawyer was "escaping" from the zoo, the
music was VERY similar to the classic Planet Of The Apes "Human
roundup" music or was it just me reading too much into it?

Victor Velazquez...
I was also put in the mind of that scene and, while the music sure helped,
the open-air cage and the running through foliage didn't hurt none, either.
I figure they saw the similarities and, well...ran with 'em.

Anim8rFSK...
LOL, no, I thought the exact same thing.

I also liked how Desmond and the Girl were both playing the same music for the season
opening. (I think so.) Or at least they mimicked each other, with Desmond playing the same

Michael Johnson...
Nope.. completely different. "Downtown" by Petula Clark happens to be
one of my favorite songs too. Good choice.

music and the beats of things falling or thumping from blowing the hatch matching the Girl
with the plane crash and separation.

Michael Johnson...
But what was absolutely hilarious was she went through her collection
of *CD's* to find a 70's oldie. HAHA.

I got money the Stephen King book selection was a novel from the 70's
too. Looking at the freeze frame I *think* it is Carrie. Most of the
decor also looked a bit dated.

Also.. if you watched closely the last frame of the opening shows the
housing compound sitting in the middle of a very large crater.

I forget what the music was last night, but it wasn't Cass Elliott doing
"Make Your Own Kind of Music", which is what Desmond was playing.

I did expect it when the scene had her starting some music, but it wasn't.
I'm completely blank this morning of what it was.

It wasn't? Hmm ... okay then, forget the music, the choreography were mimicked! :)

I thought I had heard the music from last night played before on the show.
