Would be good as a TV movie. Had moments BUT they have nowhere to go.
The cliffhanger was IMO a sign of desperation.

4. Why a cliffhanger though? I was hoping the demon hunt storyline would
be a one season arc. Guess not.

3.5 I agree. I think they made a mistake, continuing the looking for
the one-armed deamon arc into season 2 (if it makes it).

Nope, the Demon set up the greater series-long arc when he stated that
he's after all the kids with powers like Sam's -- and we've already
met one of them in the episode that introduced Sam's TK.
