without a larva.
Nope. They can live quite happily without a larva. The only drawback is
that they will be just like us (humans).
Eva...
|
If you have never hosted a larva, you wouldn't need tretonin. Your immune
system would be intact.
Eva...

That's the problem, TPTB love to miss out on details like this. Or, worse,
Jette Goldie...
|
Actually plenty of people here on Earth have "compromised"
immune systems. Some acquire it via a retro-virus, others
have genetic predispositions towards it, sometimes it's
engineered so they don't reject transplant organs. Tretonin
would be useful for them too.

they often contradict themselves and what is a poor fan to do then??

I know how to find out if it is him.
Hey Maynard, listen to this.

Another thumbs up for Pilot here! :-)
Jabba, not so much.

I have no opinion of Farscape one way or another, but the fact that it takes
2 seasons to appear to be a good show is usually an indication that it
isn't. I'll agree that you can't judge on one or two (or maybe even 3
episodes) but nobody should have to sit through two seasons worth of
episodes before they can decide if its good or not, if that's the case, it's
not.
Ian Galbraith...

So a show can't ever get better from a bad start?
Brian Henderson...
|
Unfortunately, Farscape started out with what could have been a really
cool premise, it just squandered it completely. The problem isn't
where the show started off, it's where it ended up.
|
Most of the first season of Farscape was dire but in the last 4-5
episodes they found their feet and didn't look back.

Uh, no, that would be exciting. My life is exciting, hence the reason
Farscape seemed trivial and dull.
fred_h_haddad...
|
No it isn't. Also non-relevant to the topic of "farscape" or "boredom"
|
|
|
"Presumably" sounds kinda vague. Maybe the movies will be shown on
Sci-Fi Channel first? Or maybe, like the new Babylon 5 Lost Tales
series, SG1 truly will go straight to DVD. I wonder if that will work?

If a joke has to be explained, the comic should find a new line of work.
fred_h_haddad...

An insult then? How childish. How old are you? 12? Grow up.

This was released in a statement back in August/September. One movie is
supposed to end/resolve the Ori arc and the other will be a time travel
story. Hathor help us....
Rob Jensen...

Dudes, it was out-and-out anarchic. A post-modern, live-action
version of Looney Toones (as the episode with the Looney Toones homage
makes plainly clear).
Rob Jensen...
|
BTW, I meant my comment as a compliment. THe *great* thing about
Farscape was its anarchic nature, IMO. Most of he early episodes of
the first season were stultifyingly dull -- and then there was the
disastrously awful late s1 episode "Bone To Be Wild," which IMO ground
the show to a screeching halt until they realized they had to put the
ARC into anARChy.
