John Hurly to Price is right

There is a rumor that he may replace Bob Barker in June or july of this
year. I think he would be perfect for it. For those who don't know who
John Hurly is...he was Elaines boss in Seinfeld and also did a shictck
on Dancing with the stars

I read that Barker's final show will be taped June 6. I'll miss him - he
does a great job on that show. His timing and humor will not be
duplicated, and the next host shouldn't try to. Just as M*A*S*H* replaced
Trapper and Henry with totally different characters rather than Trapper
and Henry clones, TPIR needs to get someone who isn't supposed tto be a
Barker clone.

Apparently Dave Price (the hyperactive weatherman on "The Early Show") had
it locked up...until he actually hosted some test shows. Now, Hurley, Doug
Davidson (who hosted a brief syndicated "Price is Right" 10 years ago), and
the horrible Todd Newton (of various lousy shows on GSN) are getting
tryouts.

They should get Chuck Woolery, who has the experience and personality for
this type of show. But CBS will want to go younger.

He's the current host of Family Feud.

And he's awful. Just completely fake and totally ungenuine in basically
everything he does..

PiR should just be cancelled. It's pointless without Bob at this point.

Agreed, tho I was hoping he would get his own sitcom. He's as funny as any
of the SEINFELD alumni--without any racial incidents.
