Hi, can someone tell me exactly who the target audience was for this?

Ubiquitous...
The 1970's was the second lowest point for this country in the 20th
century, next to the Great Depression. Times were bad, things sucked.

Jude Cormier...
What I don't understand is how the 'father' who supposedly hated doing
the show so much for its low level, agreed to do the variety shows
which were even lower, or the subsequent Brady brides shows, also
pretty low. Or why he was brought back given how much trouble he
supposedly gave the producers.

Of course, maybe the supposedl feud was just nasty gossip and really
wasn't that bad.

Robert Reed really enjoyed the kids, that was his motivation. He actually
enjoyed the singing and dancing, even though he knew that those were not his

Plus... The person he disagrred with the most, Sherwood Schwartz, didn't
have anything to do with the variety shows. ABC wanted the variety show and
got the cast to agree to do it. Sherwood never liked the idea and wouldn't
have anything to do with it. (According to the E! True Hollywood Story)

I think ABC cocked up..., in life there was no need for The Brady Bunch
Variety Show.

Does anyone remember Brady 5000 and whether it was any good?

wdstarr...
It was okay, but "Paris 7000" was 2000 better.

Jude Cormier...
First off, it is the Brady 500--I've noticed you made that mistake before.

the 2 hour pilot to "The Bradys"--a attempt to make the Brady family go from
sitcom, to dramedy/soap opera.

As a Brady fan, I enjoy it for what it is.........to see the cast (mostly)
once again. But as for quality entertainment, it is not top drawer. If you
are not into all things Brady, you will be hitting the remote.

talents.
As for the Brides, he stated that no one was going to give away his girls,
but him.

P.S. Which one of the Brady grils (including the mum) had the best legs?

The Christmas Place...
What is a "gril"?

et472...
I think it must be one of those slang words, from context I'd say
it's related to the front, just like the grill of a car is in the front.
"Take a look at the gril on that woman!".

But seriously, it has to be a typo, and he really mant "girl".

Something hot you put your meat on.

=?iso-8859-1?B?TVVMTElORVKZ?=...
Or sausages.

Anim8rFSK...
Yeah, better.

Something you warm your hot dog on before slipping it between the buns.
