This premiered last night? You mean I didn't have to watch America
Ian J. Ball...

I didn't realize this was running to midnight, so I bailed out early.
Anyone know when this is getting rerun again? I'd like to catch more
than the first third of the two hours next time...

Has No Talent? Darnit.

Well, it didn't start until 10PM.

0 stars.
I'd say it was lifeless, but that comment would be more interesting
than this show. I never finished watching it.
Ian J. Ball...

Eh, for "summer entertainment", this was pretty good:
3.85
But whether they can maintain this past the pilot is a whole other
question.
Stay tuned...

About 90 minutes too long.

Interesting
Points off for it starting late due to wrestling
Points off for it ending early due to MORE wrestling
Russell Watson...
|
Not wrestling: UFC. Whole 'nother ball o' wax. Real fighting for
starters, not the scripted stuff they do on "wrestling". Apparently
the people at Spike figured that they had a ready-made audience for
"Blade" in fans of the UFC, as the 2-hour live finale of season 3 of
the "Ultimate Fighter" series last Saturday was really as much a
2.5-hr. commercial for "Blade" as anything, while last night's live
"Fight Night" was also tied directly to the "Blade" premier (the
series stars were live at both events and were interviewed during
breaks in the fights). One of the guys Blade fought in the premier is
Chuck Liddell, who is in his real life actually one of the stars of
the UFC.

I stand corrected, but my score remains the same. :-)
|
|
Points off for the Blade actor not being all that good, and my not being
able to understand half of what he said
Points on for him castrating the snitch
Points way on for Krista
Points on for Chase
I'll probably watch it again
So, lets see . . . 3.5

Didn't like the Blade character (don't know if it's the actor or the
director). Liked the female lead and was surprised that she was turned

I'm going for 'actor' since I liked a lot of the other actors.

and wasn't cured. The villians were amusingly evil and the female

And she was smokin' as a vampire. Always a good thing.
|
Anim8rFSK...
|
Yep. I was *so* sure they'd reset her by the end of the pilot.
|
vampire lead is cute (not as cute as the female "good" lead, but cute).
Anim8rFSK...
|
Cute enough!
Michael Bowker...
|
The male villian reminded of the Dracula charactor in a old kid's show
(bunch of kids discover vamipires are real and keep getting in the way
of Dracula who's running a corporation). Don't remember the name of the
show. Liked the Tech.
Anim8rFSK...
|
Amazingly enough it was called "Dracula" or "Dracula The Series"
I liked it too.
Michael Bowker...
|
Ahh, thanks. That does sound like it.
Anim8rFSK...
|
No prob. I mostly remember his (I think) BMW with doors that opened
DOWN. Heh.
|
|
|
I'll give it a 3.0.
