Mark Roberts...
With Jan falling for Michael tonight ... sorry folks that's just a little
far fetched.

altec3220...
It made sense within the context of the series. I cannot see how that
would be a "jump the shark" moment.

People just can't wait to use that term

SoHillsGuy...
Why? She's acted this way before. It wasn't like it came completely
out of the blue. Hardly a "shark jumping" moment...

Great episode. ("Earl," too...)

TheMott2K7...
Nope. Sorry, still a great show. Well written, well acted, and had you
begging for more at the end. What more can you ask for?

Mark Roberts...
You sound like you'd still love the show if Pam fell for Dwight. LOL Now
that would without question be a jump the shark moment. I believe that would
be so over the top that viewership would greatly suffer. (And yes that
phrase is still in vogue. And I know what it means and I am using it
correctly. I guess people who love the show no matter what don't like the
phrase being applied to it though.)

SoHillsGuy...
More and more, one of my favorite parts of every episode is the
inevitable showdown between Michael and Toby. I love Toby's low-toned
mumble as he puts Michael in his place, legally-speaking of course.

Rob Jensen...
When has Toby ever put Michael in his place? Toby's a burn out! Case
in point . . .

Toby's best line tonight went something like, "I've had nine copies of
the email sent to me. One was from my ex-wife, and we don't even talk
anymore..."

Rob Jensen...
ITA that that was the best line of the entire episode. Brilliant.

Greg...
Toby, Ryan and Kelli are all writers/producers, and often manage to
insert themselves into some of the funniest lines and plots.

Stanley and Phylis do some of the best surprise comedy, since you're
really not expecting them to be funny. One of my favorite moments this
season is a 7 second or so shot of stanley eating Jell-O.

Jan and Michael always surprise. That's because the actors really
enjoy working with each other.

Ian Galbraith...
Why wasn't it a jump the shark moment the first time it happened?

Mark Roberts...
Because she backed off right after that and actually seemed repulsed most of
the time about the concept. Yes there were little hints a couple times but I
believed it was just a little flakiness and didn't mean anything. Last night
she said basically she was madly in love with him. Yes, I know what "jump
the shark" means.

Ian Galbraith...
Since it happened the first time Jan has clearly been attracted to Michael
on an emotional and probably physical level for whatever reason. Her
rational mind may not want to think about it but she's obviously beginning
to reconcile the different points of view. Its not something that came out
of the blue.

I believe this is where viewership starts falling for this show because it's
gotten a little too weird and the writers are going overboard. I felt the
Twilight Zone marathon on Sci Fi was more realistic than this.

theresa...
Her shrink encouraged her to go with her "self-destructive"
tendencies. Hardly a compliment to Michael...
