Well, it's official... Cher's just become a pale caricature of what

Taylor...
Rather sad to see her become a real-life mockery of what USE to be "the
Cher experience". And what a CLUNKER that fourth-from-last episode

weberm...
"Become" a mockery? Dude, she's been a caricature of herself since the
previous decade!

_ever_ of 'Will & Grace' was.

I Know...
it's a repeat, Mary.

He must have missed the part where they said they were repeating "the
two most popular episodes of Will & Grace EVER." I appreciated them:
with my miserable memory, I forgot the show used to be smart and funny.

I'm with him on the Cher comment, though. Her hair was a ridiculous
wig, her face more plastic than flesh. I'm guessing that after she
takes off all that drag at night, she looks like a female Gollum.

John...
Oh give her a break will ya? Are you claiming she looks
bad for someone who's almost 60 years old?

pluto...
Absolutely! I've seen bongos that weren't stretched as tight. She can
barely move her mouth to talk, and her drag-queen frightwig has to be
superglued around her face to hide the scars.

I find nothing particularly loathesome about unaltered 60-year-olds,
and I have nothing against moderate facelifts. I don't even mind the
purposely-unnatural plastic surgery of Amanda Lepore and Jocelyn
Wildenstein. I jump off the bus, though, when aging upper-class women
don fright masks and act like they're looking good. (Luckily this
doesn't have to be a permanent state of affairs: Mary Tyler Moore and
Barbara Eden are closing in on human these days.)

John...
Ok, I'll email Cher and tell her she should act like she's looking
bad.

She was made up for this part in W&G (long wig, heavy makeup
etc) to look like the doll that was part of the storyline earlier in
the show. If you've seen her elsewhere she really does look
stunning for a 60 year-old.
