Maybe if someone had run a comb through her hair, or put it up. That
girl needs a cut. As far as the dress goes, I'd assume that she, like
most of them, hasn't had need for a prom dress in a while, so maybe it
was something hanging in her closet that *used* to fit better, or it's
borrowed.

Oh, and Meredith looks haggard and drawn.

She looks older than Callie and I'm assuming that she's supposed to be
younger, as a resident, unless her mother's illness delayed her
entrance into the program. She does look pretty beat.

I wonder if they purposely avoided making them look too great, so that
Izzie would look even hotter in comparison, making it all the more
emotional when....

That's often the case in costume designers' considerations -- that's
their part of the collaboration with the other design and creative
areas in making sure that focus is where it belongs in a scene.

I wouldn't put it past the GA costumer here.

Lots of things cause bad skin including smoking and too much greasy food.

She doesn't look gaunt but she does look like her skin and the first
subcutaneous layer are two sizes too big for the rest of her.

I dunno id that's indicative of anything.

Really? This season I've thought that she DOES look gaunt. Compare
her look to season 1.

SO different. Last season she was cute, her hair was shiny and her skin was
much better. There's something different in her eyes. I wonder if she had
some work done. She's definitly had too much botox. Her forehead doesn't
budge.

As fo the rest of them in their prom gowns...I wouldn't want to date a woman
that if asked to the 'prom' at the last minute would have touble chooseing
between 3 different 'prom' dresses. Ypou just know that type of woman will
need an hour to do makeup every time you want to go out to dinner.
