I am far from being a fan of Martha Stewart, but I have to say she showed a
side of her that exhibited good humor - and she was such a good sport.

I agree, I think she was enjoying Borat coming on to her and rubbing up
against her. I doubt many/any men in her life have the nerve to try that.

I agree. She is also known for having crushes on David Letterman and Jon
Stewart. Apparently she's not always the Ice Queen we have come to expect.
Good for her as we share a mutual dislike of "The Donald".

While Jay Leno seemed to be the one who was so uncomfortable with Borat -
unlike Letterman, Jon Stewart and even Harry Smith (CBS' The Early Show).

Borat didn't get naked on their shows.
Jay was uncomfortable but a great sport, he let Borat virtually take over.
Martha looked like she was ready to lose her cool there for a moment but
she recovered nicely.
Frankly I think Borat was serious about giving her a go, and Martha was
considering it....;-)

Ever since I saw Martha on Conan's show eating a Taco Bell burrito and
drinking a 40 oz. malt liquor I knew that the "perfect Martha" persona
is just a character to provide an image for her company. It seems like
Martha makes fun of herself on just about every talk show appearance
I've seen her in and doesn't take herself too seriously. It looked to
me that with Borat she knew she wasn't going to get anything
accomplished and just played straight-woman to his antics. It's the
same thing that happens when she tries to teach Conan to cook
something. If it upset her she wouldn't keep coming back.

One of the many things that busted me up was when Borat said something
like "On Letterman, I only got ??? and cheerios."

I taped it last night - will watch it later tonight. The preview made
it look pretty chaotic and funny.

Borat took over the entire show, including Martha's segment.
Frankly I can't recall a MAJOR celebrity getting away with this on Leno,
let alone a newcomer.
I can only conclude Borat has some major industry clout behind him.
Martha always responds better to power than money, and she was like a
blushing bride last night. .
