Ron White Joke on Comedy Central

He's part of the redneck comedy specials on Comedy Central.

I like his routine, but for the life of me, I can't figure out what
this means: "I'm between 6'1" and 6' 6" depending on what convenience
store I'm leaving". The audience laughed, I just didn't get it.

I've been all over the country, but still don't understand. Could
anyone explain?

I'm not sure about this, but I expect it's because every convenience store
seems to have one of those "height stickers" up the side of the doorjamb,
and they're probably not all scientifically calibrated.

That's exactly what it is. A lot of convenience stores and fast food
joints have a ruler by the door that the security camera is aimed at
that should show exactly how tall anyone caught on the tape is, taking
the guesswork out of how tall a robber might be. Unfortunately they
are notoriously inaccurate. I'm 5'9" and according some of the ones
I've stood next to I'm as tall as 6' or as short as 5'5.

Maybe it's a reference to robbing a convienience store and the
description is someone between 6'1 and 6'6"? I'm not sure either.

I don't like that Ron White, I've seen him a few times on the tv and he
always looks strange as if he's wearing a ton of makeup and he has
these ugly fake hockey player type teeth.
