Tonight: Final Days of Planet Earth

I have no high hope on this 3-hour-long TV movie about insect-like aliens'
invasion. But it is Saturday night when networks has abandoned TV viewers.
So you might want to check Hallmark channel at 8 PM tonight. It also repeats
at 11 PM.

So far so good. The acting is bad but the script is good. This Sci Fi
thriller is above average and very entertaining. People who missed it should
catch the encore at 11 PM.

Is the Hallmark Channel owned by the same people that do Hallmark
greeting cards? (I'm sort of wondering what kind of card you give
someone when their planet is invaded by insect-like aliens.)

It's owned by Crown Media. If I understand the corporate history page
ry> correctly, the this company was originally a subsidiary of the
Hallmark Card company, but it was spun off as an independent company
about 6 years ago. They purchased the Hallmark Hall of Fame library of
movies.
