Mark Wahlb erg? They've got to be kidding.

all the good ones have already made appearances during the early

Nothing surprises me after Jennifer Lopez.

I'm waiting for Inside the Actor's Studio to announce "A Very Special
Evening with Sarah Michelle Gellar - not really, but highly possible. This
show should just call itself Inside the Actor's studio with whomever we
could get that's even marginally attached to acting and film. But that
would be too long. Oh Well, next week on Inside the Actor's Studio - Mario
Lopez!

SMG did have a wildly popular series for 5 years.

*laugh* She followed it up with two seasons of a show with really
crummy writing.

Natalie Portman was on, so yeah, just about anybody qualifies.

I still think there might be some benefit in learning about Jennifer
Lopez and Natalie Portman -- if only to hear their thoughts on how

I personally like her, mainly due to BTVS, and I'll always have a soft spot
for her. But she is always talking about her "craft" and you know I haven't
seen much of it since Buffy Seasons 2-4. I should have picked someone else
Brandon Fisher...
|
That's odd, since she probably gave one of the best performances seen on tv
in season 5. I get some didn't like season 6, but I don't know how anyone
can say she didn't do her job. Gellar did an amazing job on that show and
I'm afraid she may not get the chance to do it again. Of course, it helps
to have a good role to play as well as good writing. Isn't easy to come by
once you leave tv. Why theatrical features are seen as being "superior" to
television, I'll never know.

like Tara Reid or Kim Delaney.

oooo
Tara Reid would have been perfect, yes.

different directors got different levels of performance out of them.

I'm sure she thinks about herself-- constantly.

as we all do
lets face it we're all fascinating !
Heynony...
|
Not just fascinating; we are each, at a very fundamental level, all
that there is.

Actually . . . Portman's not. :-)
|
|
|
Admittedly, it might be a more appropriate topic for the non-existent
Inside the Directors Studio :-)

It has been said that the quality of Inside the Actor's Studio dropped
when NBC took over Bravo. Jennifer Lopez was a guest not long after
that transition.
"Hey, we at NBC expect the highest ratings possible. Get it however
you can. We suggest inviting guests based on their current popularity,
not their acting chops, experience, or interesting stories about
acting."

Wahlberg is a good actor, and he's getting better as he's getting older.
I see nothing wrong with his style.

I'll be sure to ask this question when I'm a guest next week.
