I have vague memories of a sitcom on Fox, in the early 90's. It lasted
maybe two seasons. It involved a white Kindergarten teacher with a
crabby mother and teenage daughter who married a black (dentist, I
think)with two teenage sons.
Does any remember this sow and what is was named?

That would be _True Colors_, which ran for about two seasons. They
replaced the father between seasons.

For the longest time, the plan for the "Bewitched" film was to replace the
actor playing Darren about halfway through the movie, without making any
comment (in-film or out) or having any of the other actors notice. I think
they badly missed a turn by not doing so.

Given how awful Ferrell was, yeah, replacing him would have been a plus.
Of course, all that's left of that joke is Ferrell having a hissy fit on the
phone about how he's playing the guy they replaced and nobody noticed.
And it's not funny at all.

That's my top filmmaking opportunity flub. Runner up is the missed
opportunity in "Looney Tunes: Back in Action" where Jenna Elfman is looking
out the window of the flying car. Points to anyone who can insert the
missing line. (Hint: the camera angle, frame and lighting are EXACTLY the
same as the scene I think they should have borrowed from, although the
audiences for the two films are light years apart...)
