Bahamas, within sight of Nassau. A cruise we went on in 1986 stopped
there. I think I even have a few pictures in a pile somewhere.

I'm pretty sure they just added a pond and palm trees to the same set that was used
for the fake moon landings. If you look closely you can still see Neil Armstrong's
foot prints in the sand.

Um... you do realize Gilligan's Island went off the air two years
before Apollo 11, right? :-)

The (unaired) pilot was filmed in Hawaii, but the series was generally
filmed at CBS Studio Center, except for some location work in the first
season, such as reshot sequences from the pilot. These were shot on
Zuma Beach in Malibu.

CBS Studio City is still around at 4024 Radford Avenue in Studio City.
For better or worse "According to Jim" is shot there. There's a
