I thought I'd take a look back at the last 20 years on ABC and compose
a "best of" TV lineup for each night of the week. In order to compose
this TV lineup, I had to consider a few things:

1. Programs to be considered (except for reality shows) had to have
been on the air for at least two seasons.
2. I had to include at least one reality show on the schedule.
3. Spinoffs from original shows could be added to the schedule
together (e.g., The Cosby Show-A Different World, Cheers-Frasier).
Extensions of original series (Law & Order, CSI) would not be
considered; i.e., only one version of the show could be placed on the
schedule.

So here is my 20 year fantasy schedule for ABC (all times EST):

MONDAY
8:00 MacGuyver
9:00 Moonlighting
10:00 Thirtysomething

TUESDAY
8:00 Who's The Boss
8:30 Growing Pains
9:00 Home Improvement
9:30 Roseanne
10:00 NYPD Blue

WEDNESDAY
8:00 Spin City
8:30 The Drew Carey Show
9:00 Lost
10:00 Dynasty

THURSDAY
8:00 Dancing With The Stars
9:00 The Bachelor
10:00 Who Wants To Be A Millionaire

FRIDAY

8:30 Family Matters
9:00 My Wife And Kids
9:30 George Lopez
10:00 20/20

Wow

I guess I don't watch a lot of ABC, even historically.

MacGuyver -- only seen in reruns
Moonlighting -- watched to the bitter end, even after it self destructed
Spin City -- gave up after Fox left; frankly it self destructed when
Jennifer Esposito bleached her hair
The Drew Carey Show -- tried to watch to the bitter end but the network made
it impossible
Lost
Dynasty -- watched to the bitter end, even after it self destructed
Who Wants To Be A Millionaire -- tried to watch to the bitter end but the
network made it impossible
Ellen -- gave up early when it self destructed

This bodes poorly for LOST. All these series seem to have gone on far
longer than they should have and ended badly.
