sep 8 is the 40th anniversary of star trek's first episode "man trap",
which originally aired on nbc. this episode will be
shown along with 3 others.

And what'd be really cool is if TV Land showed this first episode
uncut, as it was originally seen 40 years ago. Back in the day, TV Land
would've done this. The channel is such a shell of its former self,
though, that I doubt they will.

Yep - don't hold your breath. I can't think of much that TV Land has ever
shown uncut.

In 2001, for I Love Lucy's 50s anniversary, they aired a weeklong
marathon of ILL episodes, all uncut. But like I said, TV Land has
declined a lot since those days.

G4 has an uncut "Star Trek" block on the weekends, though.

That's what they call "Star Trek 2.0", but they don't run everything like
that. They have an uncut block shown in the regular format.

Ah. I've only seen 2.0 and their embarrassingly bad Comic-Con coverage,
and gave up on the whole network.
