Question: I don't know what you're talking about. I absolutely hated
the end of last week's Gilmore Girls. It would have been so much more
effective if the Friday-night dinner had been the main plot of the
episode rather than a short-clip-show afterthought. — Holly

Ausiello: I thought it worked. But I agree with you on one thing: The
dinner should have gotten more airtime. There was certainly enough
material.

[Rob here: as I pointed out in my review on the Poll thread in atgg,
I thought that all four of the major online columnists, Ausiello,
Krisin, Matt Roush and Amy the TVGal over at zap2it majorly over-hyped
the family-fight scene and thereby misrepresented the episode as
something it was not. Ausiello even continues to suggest here that
there was a longer cut of at least the fight scene itself, which does
little good to know given that the episode can't lose anything *else*
structurally to make room for it.]
