The Office Season three, Episode 6

While I enjoyed the backdrop of an Indian wedding and the little parts
with Ryan, overall I thought this episode was the weakest of the entire
series. Michael asked Carol to marry him, but as soon as it started, I
knew it was going to fail so there was no impact. The failed kiss with
Pam was both obvious and uncomfortable with no wit attached to it.

OK, it's not very funny here, but it got a smile out of me, the way it
was played.

Plus, Jim and Pam failed to connect. Dwight had almost no part of this
episode. Kelly, who could have been the central part of this episode
was also nothing but a bit player. Even Angela, who is occasionally
likable, was completely devoid of character. It felt like the writer

A little Dwight goes a long way. I laughed at him more tonight than in
the recent Dwight-centric episodes. And, when is Angela ever likable?

of this episode didn't really know how to write any of the characters
so it just became an ensemble mess. There weren't even any really cute

I didn't see anybody behaiving out of character.

scenes with Jim and his co-worker. Overall, there seemed to be a lot

I'm more interested in funny than cute, but the scenes at the other
office didn't deliver either this week.

going on, but nothing really happened so it felt like a setup episode
for something that's going to happen next episode.

There can't be earth-shattering occurences every episode. This one
delivered plenty of laughs.

his other office and the characters there. I love Jim's character, but

Sounds like they're going to follow the rough outline of the British
series and merge the two branches. Probably it will end up with the
bike riding guy as Michael's boss.

for me the whole magic of the show was Jim and Pam. Without that
dynamic, the show just keeps falling flatter and flatter. This show
used to be my favorite, but I'm starting to think I'd enjoy watching
Gray's Anatomy more.

Does anyone else feel this way? Is there a way we can write the

Not me, but there must be some reason people are watching "Ugly Betty"
instead.

producers? This show used to be fun to collect on iTunes, but the lack
of re-watchability of this season's episodes is making me wonder if I
should bother. I just end up going back to watching the episodes with
Jim's party and the "swaying" episode again.
