David...
By the best finale yet.

1. Logan is so perfectly slimy. The way he was turned bad was clumsy
but he's arguably one of tv history's greatest villains. Give that guy
an Emmy.

2. It didn't involve yet another shootout.

3. The last 15 minutes, which seasons one and two did so well, where
the story wraps up early and then anything can happen.

(hope Jack has time to get some rest before season 6)

Uniblab...
I've loved this season and have been able to suspend my disbelief for just
about all of it, but I thought the confession was just really silly. I knew
as he was saying it that it was being recorded, and how convenient that
Marty managed to goad him into confessing all. Loved her smirk as he was led

Julio...
I knew it way before then, namely when I saw Logan getting his pen back
(right after his men rescued him from Jack). Giving so much "camera time"
to that pen was just too suspicious.

Ronnie...
I couldn't recall when I had seen the pen, earlier in the
episode...can you describe this scene in better detail?

chicagofan...
Back when Jack frisked the POTUS [Logan], and supposedly threw all of *his*
stuff on that table, the camera lingered on that shot of what was on the table.

Mark Nobles...
When Jack takes Logan into the warehouse, he searches him. Logan thinks
he is looking for a weapon and assures him he is not armed. Jack finds
a pen in his pocket, and waves it at him like he found the weapon Logan
just assured him he didn't have. Then at some point we see it laying on
the table, and later we see Logan pick it up and put it away.

Chris...
But ist is also the little "throwaway/misdirection" that gets you like when
Jack asked Novick if the First Lady was with us than asked to talk to her
and that was it, unil she set him up.

Julio...
That was for a more immediate purpose, namely to ask the F.L. to distract
the Prez to buy some time to get Jack onto the chopper.

I also think somehow it will be Chole who will figure out it was the
Chiniese and do a port ship search and Jack by that that time would have

Rob Jensen...
It's not going to take a rocket scientist (or even a computer
scientist) to figure out that a nation that has put a bounty out on
Jack's head is the entity that abducted Jack.

Brett A. Pasternack...
Then again, it's not as though the Chinese are the only people with a
motive to do something to Jack.

Casey McDonald's Guidance Counsellor, Ian J. Ball...
As Logan is the one who very likely put the Chinese on Jack's trail,
Logan may also 'cop' to that as part of his immunity deal.

I think by the time season #6 starts, everyone will know where Jack is.

It'll just be a question of getting him *out*...

been unconconsice for what 10-15 min that should be rested enough after the
day he has had and there seem to be enough water on the floor for him to
refresh himself and take care of any bad guys who enter the area. I pity
the rest of the crew if Jack finds a power bar hidden somewhere. Anyway he
will get off the ship, and be picked up by the coast guard.

Nolo Contendre...
The President and the 1st lady were perfectly cast. Both deserve an
emmy for their respective roles.

Really got blind-sided by the Chinese connection at the end. Although
even those not acquainted with prior seasons would know about Jack's
reason to go to ground.
The ending premise should make for a particularly good next season.
And a major departure from the theme of past seasons. (Give the
writers some credit for having the guts to go a different direction
instead of following the known tried & true format).

Personally, I can't wait to see how [24] develops for the next season.
The possibilities are endless on this one; CTU/ Homeland Security will
know Jack is missing, but will they assume that he has just gone
a-ground? Will a few rogue agents/operatives figure out what is
happening and try to assist Jack? Or will Jack find himself in a mess
which will require him to determine his own way out?

The speculation for the next season begins now ...

away, though.

This season is going to be tough to top. I'm glad they're following up with
the Chinese plot, though. Kim Raver has a new show on ABC this fall - I
wonder if we'll see her at all next season.

jayembee...
Well, that would kinda depend on how well the show does, and how central
her role is. And given that "24" won't be starting until January, they
will be going into production well after her new show has, so she might
be able to take some time off.

David B...
I'm sure she'll be in at least one episode of 24 next season.

Maureen Goldman...
"If it takes forever, I will wait for you... for a thousand summers, I
will wait for you... "

Does anyone know the planned time interval between days five and six?
For Jack, I mean.

David...
There's a rumor that it might be the same day though I think that'd be
too much for Jack.

Ken from Chicago...
Epilogues are very nice.

Robert...
No problem. He's on a slow boat to China until January.
