What admired shows would you like to see get filmed in high definition?

What admired TV shows still in production, would you like to start
seeing get filmed in the
high definition format and what would be the advantage of seeing it
that way, in your view.

If they are filmed, they are already in as high definition as it gets.
What you should be asking is, What shows should be transferred to HD?
Right now all primetime dramas and sitcoms, at least on the big three,
are broadcast in HD versions wherever local stations are providing HD

Scrubs has stayed regular definition, though I think it's always
been on 16mm film. I heard the season finale was broadcast in HD, though.

Shows that are shot directly on videotape are a different story. But
AFAICT, the only shows being made that way are reality shows, so who
cares?

Star Trek The Next Generation was mastered to video after season 1; it's as
HD as it's ever gonna be, right now.

And then there's Babylon 5 . . .
