Okay here's the markets the CW doesn't haven't an affiliate for as of
today. The first number is the DMA ranking, the following number in parenthesis is the HH% that market represents. William George Ferguson...
41 (0.641) Harrisburg, Lancaster, Lebanon, York (Susquehanna Valley) (PA) Possible: WLYH - operated by Clear Channel, currently UPN, no fall affiliation yet 44 (0.597) Memphis Possible: WLMT - O&O by Clear Channel, currently both WB/UPN, not on 'official' CW list, but is listed as going to be CW on the Memphis station list 72 (0.377) Honolulu Possible: KIKU is currently a secondary UPN affiliate, it is primarily a multicultural station with Japanese programming.The other independents in the market are KBFD (Asian) and KALO (Christian); also a new station, KMGT is licensed but not yet broadcasting, and its content type has not yet been determined, or at least announced 77 (0.359) Springfield, MO Possible: K15CZ, sister station to NBC affiliate KYTV - both owned by Schurz Communications, K15CZ is the current UPN affiliate and hasn't affiliated for the fall yet (the WB station affiliated with My Network) 90 (0.296) Burlington, VT/Plattsburg, NY Possible: WGMU, currently UPN - O&O by Equity Broadcasting; WFFF, the WB Secondary affiliate is a Fox primary affiliate; there is also a new (probably digital-only) station, not on the air yet, which has grabbed the call letters WCWF, kind of indicating what their plans are 92 (0.289) Harlingen, Weslaco, Brownsville, McAllen, Pharr TX Possible: None great. The WB currently narrowcasts on cable-only KMHB, a WB100+ cable station. That could become a CW100+ outlet, or (what the CW seems to be doing in preference) one of the affiliated over the air stations, such as KGBT the CBS affiliate, could do a digital sub-channel affiliation. 98 (0.267) Johnstown, Altoona PA Possible: none; UPN has a secondary affiliation with the Fox channel, and WB doesn't have any current affiliation; CW will likely either go for a digital sub-channel or a CW100+ cable only channel here 104 (0.248) Ft. Smith, Fayetteville, Rogers AR Possible: Not KSBN (independent), to quote from their website, "Are you tired of seeing violence, permissiveness, and immorality on television?", pretty much a certainty they won't be a CW affiliate; most likely here will be a cable only CW100+ channel, there doesn't look like even much oppurtunity for a digital sub-channel 108 (0.240) Springfield MA Possible: WBQT the WB100+ cable only channel currently providing WB programming (the over the air UPN affiliate is going My Network), if not WBQ, then either another cable only becomes a CW100+ or the CW strikes a deal for a digital sub channel affiliation 113 (0.225) Traverse City, Cadillac MI WBVC is the currently WB100+ cable only channel, either that or another cable only channel for the CW100+ is likely 116 (0.222) Montgomery, Selma, AL WBIH is not listed on the main CW affiliate list, but is listed as a CW affiliate on the Montgomery station list 120 (0.209) Macon, GA Probably go with a CW100+ cable only channel, there is currently a WB100+ cable only channel (WBMN) and the UPN secondary affiliate is a CTN primary affiliate, and will likely go all christian when UPN stops The rest of Nielsen's DMAs with CW affiliation, without comments William George Ferguson...
