Ken from Chicago...
It's mid-July again, time for all-new Stargates, piping hot out the
wormhole:

STARGATE SG-1: Original recipe

STARGATE ATLANTIS: Extra nerdy

Tim Bruening...
Nerdy: Geekish demon.

Ken from Chicago...
"Sometimes you feel like a nerd. Sometimes you don't. SGA has nerds, SG1

patty1...
I don't watch SGA, but I noticed on SG1 last night that there was one
scene between Gen. Landry and Woolsey. Conversely to what happened on
SGA according to your report, the Wraith invasion was not mentioned
on SG1. There was, however, a brief mention by Woolsey about bringing
the "Atlantis ZPM" to Earth to defend against the Ori.

Ken from Chicago...
Keeping the Wraith from invading the Milky Way.

You keep wanting to lay the blame on Weir. Maybe you should apply for
a job with the IOA.

As was pointed out during the episode by General Landry, while Weir
made the decision, that decision was made with the *full* approval
of both Landry himself and the IOA. So they are just as much to blame
as she is.

Tomita's character replied to that with, "Well, obviously we didn't
have all the facts." Obviously. And obviously, Weir didn't either.
The IOA had just as many facts as Weir did.

I had thought he said to use the ZPM to defend Earth from the Wraith.

patty1...
With all the double-duty Landry was doing on SGA and SG-1, it was easy
to get confused, so I double checked. He told Woolsey on SG-1, "There's
no guarantee the Ancients' weapons platform in Antarctica would be any
more effective against the Ori ships than what we've already thrown at
them."

Tim Bruening...
On SGA, there was talk of using the Atlantis ZPM to defend Earth from the
Wraith.

patty1...
Perhaps so. I was just answering a question about SG-1. I didn't see SGA.

Anim8rFSK...
Lucky girl. :-)
Because of course there's no need of it in Atlantis (rolls eyes).

don't (well, not so much)."

It's a one-two punch of Sci Fi Friday.

Ian J. Ball...
Meanwhile, some of us will actually be watching the new episodes of
"Beyond the Break" and "Whistler" on The N tonight, instead. ;p

ravenlynne...
Yay something to watch tonight besides that jennifer love hewitt
show...

Unfortunately, CBS looks to have pulled "Ghost Whisperer" reruns for the
duration of the summer. Too bad, as I could use them as 'background TV
filler', but now I can't even do that.
