you keep saying that, but the fact is they *DID* film it (a pilot for
Aquaman) so clearly it is not "unfilmable". And it's not even the first
time film/tv has done underwater dwelling characters, it's been done
before with varying degrees of ability on the filmmakers part.

That wasn't Aquaman -- that was Baywatch with superpowers. to do an
Aquaman movie, you've got to be faithful to the original concept. That
means the whole speaking-underwater, King
Arthur-with-the-serial-numbers-filed-off thing. That's unfilmable in

selaboc...
which goes to show that not even YOU can be faithful to the original
concept, as the Arthur-with-the-serial-numbers-filed-off thing was not
part of the original concept but was a later addtion. Since you are so
willing to go with something that is not the original concept, why
can't Hollywood?

live action.

It would be nice of the commercial success of HEROES lead Warner Brothers to
reconsider AQUAMAN: THE SERIES.

Didnt James Cameron do the "Aquaman" movie with the great Vincent
Chase in the
lead? I'm still waiting for that to be released.

Join the club.

Unlike SMALLVILLE there would be few if any editorial constraints
arbitrarily preventing the writers from developing characters or surprising
audiences--like a certain young superhero who's future pert near everyone
knows already.
