Ramsey's kitchen nightmares

So Ramsey's kitchen nightmares is upon us ( tonite 21:00 ) , gotta say
I think this is the best of his shows and this series looks even better
than the last ones.

Wonder how many more 'bad scallop' moments they'll work into the plot
in this new series :)

I like the show but it would be difficult to find some of the
ingredients he uses in my local market such as ox tails
and mussels.

Is it on BBC "proper" or on BBCAmerica? I hadn't seen any announcement
on the latter but they were showing Ramsay's F Word show.

Did a guide check and no go on BBC America. I wonder why someone hasn't
bought this show to redo over here.

They DID do an American version of it earlier this year and it was very
much like Top Chef only Ramsey was horribly rude almost constantly to
the contestants. It was called "Hell's Kitchen" but I can't remember
what network it was on.

Completely different show, Cassie.

Yet ANOTHER Ramsay series, "The F Word", is on BBC America Sundays and
Thursdays. (They're series 1 eps from 2005., UK friends)

sorry, my bad. I only saw his Kitchen Nightmares show a while back
and now that I really think about it, yes, it was totally
different....... I think it was about Ramsey going in and trying to
turn a losing restaurant around, right? I remember thinking how
amazed I was that he actually IS capable of talking in a nice tone to
people.

When I got home last night I did a title search and found 3 episodes
airing around midnight PST on the 24th (BBC America); these are
revisits to restaurants he did before and can't tell if I saw them
before or not (saw the originals for sure, just not sure if there were
revisits in there).

As for the idea of a redo here...only if Ramsay does it! I've seen
related shows on FoodTV where they makeover restaurants, they don't
have quite the guilty pleasure Gordon gives ;)
