Oh my goodness. This is so good. The telekinesis. The "I hate everything about what you do." And that's only the first 10 minutes.

Wow...I didn't see that end coming, at least not the way it played out.
I just assumed the big cliffhanger would be Jim telling Pam that he
was transferring out of Scranton.

That was an awesome finale!

I love the way the show just ends. Almost every week it just sort of ends
without a set up that would indicate it was about to end.

I really have to say this week's episode was top-notch. It's been
growing all season, but this ep would have moved it into my
favorites.
Slayah...
|
It's been in my favorites for a while now.
|
Of course the big moment was Jim telling Pam how he felt -- and then
I felt they handled the aftermath well, with her not knowing what to
say and him not knowing how to clean up the mess. Then their hug and
kiss at the very end was just right as a clkiffhanger -- it could
lead to more or to nothing.
Slayah...
|
It came out of nowhere, even though it was obvious. The kiss too!
Beautiful.
|
But don't overlook the earlier parts of the show, like Jim moving the
coatrack with his mind and then Dwight trying to influence the
bobblehead doll. And the whole thing with "Afghanistanis"
"Afghanis" -- "That's a dog" "That's a shawl".

Oh, the entire ep was full full full. I absolutely have to watch it
again. How about Michael's use of ebonics? LOL!!!
Stan Brown...
|
When the warehouse guy was "interviewed", I certainly had the
impression that he had taught Michael made-up catch phrases and hand
gestures.
Slayah...
|
"You know, things us Negroes say" LOL! I like Darryl, we need to see
more of him.

I'm having a momentary brain lapse. Who are Tim and Dawn?
Milhouse Van Houten...
|
They're the Jim&Pam of the original "The Office"--the whole series led up to
that scene in the final episode where Dawn *finally* dumped her bf and went
running to Tim for the Big Kiss.

Hell no. The handshake was priceless, BTW.

Yup. Great show. I had a feeling in s1 that they could make it on their
own, away from the original, and s2 thankfully proved me right.
Apparently iTunes video was instrumental, almost overnight their
ratings doubled after the show became available and people started
hyping it to non-viewers. Sweet newfangled technology, I love thee.

|
Really good writing, really good comic acting. If they want us to
pant with anticipation for season 3, well, mission accomplished!
