I know. But it takes a lot of complaints before any action is taken. For
me it's just not worth the effort, expecially when I've already taken my

Yeah, once Halloween is over, the tv commercials start the barrage.
The Bed Bath and Beyond on 66th Street is all decked out in all things
Christmas in one section. And there is a smell of cinnamon coming from
there--it's so intense you can't fricking breathe, and they've blocked
off the direct path to checkout. You must go through this smell hell
to get to the register. It pretty much sums it all up.

LOL--that smell smacks you right in the face when you walk into the
local BB&B here. And a clerk at the local Hallmark store was trying
to interest my moms into buying their tchchoke-for-the-season (a
cheesy-looking penguin-dancing thing) the week before Halloween.

i've become so intolerant of the whole process that I just want to hide

I think Target does some of the best Xmas ads out there--but I don't
need to see them before Thanksgiving.
