tmcd...
Tonight, Cartoon Network in the US advertised Miyazaki's _Spirited
Away_ for this coming Saturday, which would be the 17th, the start of
"A Month of Miyazaki". I'm pretty sure it said it was 8 PM Eastern.
From a brief web-search, other pages announced it too, including
PM.

I just did a Yahoo! TV search, and it says
Searched next 14 days for "spirited away" - found 0 matches

I've tried searching site:cartoonnetwork.com for "miyazaki", or for
"spirited away", and found nothing. I tried Toonami's own search and
got nothing. Going to the Toonami page,
link (image-only) on the front page, but the destination is 404ed
... except, rechecking now, the link to it is now gone from the page.

Does anyone know definitively if and when Cartoon Network in the US is
going to show _Spirited Away_?

TeleAddictus...
I saw something on the Newsarama Site:

*same link as above, only shorter*

"Cartoon Network also announced it has picked up the Miyazaki film
library that was recently aired on the Turner Classic Movies network.
The following films were announced:

* Spirited Away: It will air on March 18 at 7:30 p.m.
* Princess Mononoke: March 25 at 7:30 p.m.
* Castle in the Sky: April 1 at 7:30 p.m.
* Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind: April 8 at 7:30 p.m."

Turner Classic Movies will be showing Spirited Away at 1 AM Central on

I just rechecked. 1 *PM* Central. POST MERIDIEM. Sorry.

The running time for that showing and the Cartoon Network showing
today (6:30 PM Central) are both 180 minutes. So I wonder whether
Miyazaki's insistence on "no editing when shown" includes commercials.

tmcd...
Ha. As if. Am I naive or what?

(Oh, and Cartoon Network finally updated the listing data for
Yahoo! TV.)

tmcd...
But they didn't replace the local Time-Warner Cable listing for
_Justice League Unlimited_ with what they actually showed, Bo Bo Bo Bo
Bo However Many Bo.

Saturday, March 25. From the cast list, it appears to be the English
dubbed version. The advantage of TCM: no commercials.

None of the others show in Yahoo! TV listings.

Mojo...
Check the Cartoon Network website "full schedule" section. They left a
"movie" block open on the 18th at 7:30p.

Btw, Cartoon Network isn't really great about updating their website or
providing advance info. Keep checking.
