For me, that's exactly what makes the story interesting. But then,
unlike just about everyone else (it seems), with LOST I care less
about the present situation, and love the character-piece nature
of the flashback episodes.

The constant barrage of commercials for Jericho and The Class and
Smith, is making me sick. I hide my face when they come on.

I've yet to see an ad for any of those (we must be watching different
networks) :-)

The endless MYTV telenovella ads are horrible beyond belief though.

The only think I've seen a lot of ads for on a real network is Studio
60. I might find the EVERYBODY SAYS IT'S THE GREATEST SHOW EVER MADE
ads a turn off if I hadn't already seen the pilot and found it wonderful.
